Delhi elections
can we bless the fire that burns our cities?
thinking about the langston hughes poem as I stay up to follow the delhi elections.
read about blr and the new idea of public realm in the city. (first three chapters of Gidwani's new book and Khalil Gibran, and Gravy by raymond carver)
my task for the coming two days is to bring urban studies from the obscurity of bad prose to the sweet freedoms of simple prose.
I have a few things lined up:
First, write the response paper where I lay out the way in which I want to explain what these concepts mean and relate with each other.
Second, I want to use the first and second position paper to think about my literature review and how that could see a sense of completion, of bringing ideas together.
Third, and I hope to get here, is to find aspects within these that I could use for SAMAJ.
connect and think, always on your feet.
The timetable helps with thinking and doing.
